Neon Gills — Original

Neon Gills by Cecilia Rae Artistry.

Another one of my favorite fish friends. After a year off of creating more of my vibrant fish, I created this guy. I let the colors guide me, truly drowning out the push for perfection and owning the colorful brushstrokes wherever they landed. This piece reminds me to trust my heart, I doubted that I could recreate the magic of my colorful fish after a year but it showed me that I still got it if I lean into my instincts.
